What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file saved by your browser when you visit a website. It lets the website remember a piece of information, such as the language you chose, from one page or one visit to the next.
Our principles
- All our cookies are set by City Rent, on cityrent.fr. No cookies from other websites.
- No advertising, no tracking across websites, no data sold.
- Statistics are computed on our own servers, in France.
- Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time.

Necessary cookies cannot be switched off from the website: without them, it would not work properly. They are used for nothing else.
Anonymous audience measurement
To know which pages interest you and to improve the website, we count visits. This measurement follows the rules set by the CNIL for audience measurement without consent:
- it only produces anonymous statistics, used by City Rent alone;
- your IP address is shortened as soon as it is received, and only the country is kept;
- we keep the type of device and the main browser version, never the exact model or the screen size;
- for the source of the visit, only the name of the referring website is kept (for example instagram.com);
- no individual path is ever viewed;
- the cookie lasts no more than 13 months and statistics are kept no more than 25 months.
You can object at any time by refusing audience measurement in your cookie choices.
Detailed measurement, with your consent
If you accept it, we also keep the path of your visit: the pages viewed in order, the time spent, the campaign you came from and your approximate city. If you then send us a request, this path is attached to it, so we better understand what you were looking for.
This information stays with City Rent and is deleted after 13 months. Without your consent, none of it is recorded.
Changing your choices
The Manage cookies link, at the bottom of every page, reopens your choices at any time. They are kept for 6 months, after which we ask you again.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The website still works, but your language and choices will no longer be remembered.
